The other day a student of mine said,
“Krystallo, I can’t avoid how I feel.”
Even though I understood what my student was trying to say, I had to correct the sentence.
Because, unfortunately, that’s not how we say it in English. No — we say: “I can’t help how I feel.”
Help? What??
Yes… that’s actually what we say.
So today’s challenge is the correct use of “evitar” in English. And this week, the challenge is a bit more challenging. You’ll find activities that not only test what you already know, but also introduce new types of exercises to help you think in English, not translate word by word.
Have a look, try them out, and tell us how you do.

Remember that whenever you score 100%, take a screenshot and send it back to us. We’d love to celebrate your progress! 🎉
Keep learning,
